Today I was attacked by 3 of The End Semester’s exam, I hope it will be alright yes it will be alright…I don’t give a damn anymore. Get to the usual business day after the exam and continue work work work and work.

As when I woke up, I wash my face and make prepare for today’s Labyrinth.

Then I’m thinking about Maria who’s is putting a chill face right now.

Though I said that I wanted to sell her due to my mistake of buying her, I decided to make her being useful on the Labyrinth explore. Of course, I don’t expect too much of her. But still, I want to test something by going together with her. I am also curious about one of skill of her, Insight. However, Maria gets in a panic.

「If you won’t then get out of here. But, if you want to live in here, do some work. You should understand that much, don’t you?」

I say something cold to her.

Well, I understand that I can’t force her to obey me since she has no collar anymore.

Maria let out the sigh while seeing me mysteriously.

Perhaps Maria thinks that there is no way. People know that every day in Labyrinth, many explorers died. So it answered naturally for the weak people what will happen to them if they entered the Labyrinth. However, I won’t let her die. Because there is a thing I want to try so I drag Maria over to the Labyrinth together with me.

Until now I shared the experience together with Dia who is my party member.

However, I can’t imagine forming a party with the others since Dia has to stay in the hospital.  I heard that it ‘s hard to raise the level.

But, in the case for my party, it divided by half for the experience. So it is easy to increase the level in my party. As a result, Dia was able to raise her level in a right way.

That’s why there is a possibility if I just bring Maria together with me, it could raise her level as well.

「Maria, there is a thing that I need you to do inside the Labyrinth, so I want you to come with me」

「……alright」

said that with a tone as if she is being pushed and gave the nod.

「First, let get the errand for preparing the launch」

As when we are getting out of the house, I stopped.

The party leader is Kanami Aikawa.

I stopped the topic regarding the slave and head to the shopping district. First I have to buy equipment for Maria.

So I asked the shopkeepers regarding where to find a high-value product, but he told that I could obtain it in the Whose Yards’s auction particular store.

Though, I purchased the Tressured Sword of Aries in this district.

Just like that I finish the shopping and give Maria a short sword as the weapon.

「It’s heavy despite it is just a knife…」

Maria dressed in a leather armor and dagger with both hands. Because of that Maria is getting confused.

My objective is to raise her strength by increasing her level.

Right now we are preparing for several things before we enter the Labyrinth

「Maria, ride me up I will carry you on my back」

I want to test out several things. I get Maria ride on my back. But, Maria is putting a puzzled face.

「He?」

I know that she is confused right now, but…

「I’m getting serious right now, so please, believe me, get on my back hurry」

「For now I decided to head to the 5th floor, so I want to get there quickly by letting you ride me on while I am able to protect you too」

I can guarantee her safety if we hunt on the fifth floor.

There is an explorer of a big man who has strength 5.00 His vitality is about the same. Compare to me, I’m higher in 6 points than him. In other words, I’m much superior to that big man.

So I want to test out how much I can pick back her by exploring inside the Labyrinth. I have confidence that it still easy to do it until 5th level.

Maria is shyly getting up on my back.

She is really light like the weight of sword sheath. But it will be impossible for the previous me. But right now I have strength.

「Alright, well then get ready! I’m going to start the run」

「Okay」

Right after I confirmed Maria hold me tightly, I use my Dimension.

I walk down on the right path and Maria scream in frightening.

My speed is around 10.00, But I don’t know how much use of that point in speed. Since there is no opponent to make me able measure it.

While in this speed Maria is still screaming.

Seems like she is exhausted even in this way.

Maria says with a straight face. In responding to her words, my face became red.  I try to not being looked and says something.

I wonder this Alauna is the name of an animal? I don’t know why but I got the image to a horse. Looks like she has the experience of riding the Alauna.

One of Maria’s acquired skill is “Hunt” Likely during the time when before she became the slave, she got the ride on an animal called Alauna.

「Do not too much talk Maria, or you might bite your own tounge」

Maria replied me obediently.

Not even 30 minutes we are getting closer to our destination, 5th floor.

But the one who has to pay was me.

My initially objective was to reach here under 30 minutes without tired but apparently even though my strength is 6.00, it is still tough for me.

Maria is worried about me and seeing me who still out of breath.

The outcome is expected, but there was some point that I missed. However, I have confirmed that is possible to make a dash while carrying Maria on the back. So when if the urgent came, I could retreat quickly together with Maria.

While still out of breath, I lift down the Maria from my back. Right after my both hands-free, I draw out the sword and walk down on the correct path.

「We begin the advance? Should we better to take a rest first?」

「We don’t have that much time. Although I’m still out of breath, I won’t lose to monsters on this floor, so rest assured」

「In my knowledge, the fifth floor is still a dangerous area even for the veteran-explorer」

「That maybe right. But, it will be okay for me」

Apparently, in Maria’s mind, she could just die at any time. Since she opposes me in a trembling voice.

I have confidence that I won’t let Maria gets injured since I can pull out the best ability of Dimension. However, Maria still in doubt since she still doesn’t know anything about me. To relieve her anxiety, I tell her…

「It will be alright. If I don’t have confidence, I wouldn’t have brought you along」

「Really? But, I’m worrying about Master who may fail at the crucial time」

Maria paused a while glaring at me.

Is that perhaps the result from her skill of insight? Is she able to see through of my heart?

I cast out the Dimension. I don’t have to worry about MP again. Since I had leveled up to 10, the limit increased two times compare to before.

Using the MP without worry, I beat monsters and also boss monsters. As a result, I got much experience from killing them. In other words, this pace of leveling is good.

We head to the direction of North-East. In few hundred meters away, monsters densely inhabited area. Around there I found the best place. Then I encourage Maria to move.

「This way」

After we walked in dozens of meters, a new scenery comes into view.

Immediately, I reaffirm the monsters that in few hundred meters away. While hunting monsters, I make sure no monsters is laying their hand on Maria.

At last, I can start the experiment.

「Maria, wait here. I’m going to hunt some monsters over there」

「He? No, no, nono nono nono, please wait. Don’t leave me out here alone!」

「You will be all right, I can spot where the monster’s location so please please rest assured. If something dangerous come upon you before that happen, I will be back. The worst situation, if monster came before me,  you could just run away toward the correct path」

「No, Though if I made an escape, there is no way the monsters on another side will not see me」

「If that happen………you should just give up then」

「No way!!!」

「I’m just joking. You will be alright, I can actually spot the monsters so don’t worry」

Though at last, I got Maria understand she mutters herself in deplorable voice.

「Haaa……, I, So, in the end, I will die huh? Thanks to the stupid master my end will be eaten by the monster. Torture to death by the hateful monsters」

「Well then, I’m going」

「Yes Yes, You abandoned me please have a safe trip」

Right after Maria shook hands, I ran to the place where resided by monsters.

There is a possibility in things which Maria spoke. That is will I make in time or not to make a rescue for Maria. Stop thinking I continue to decrease the monsters by killing them.

5th floor is dominated by insect monster and beast. I beat them easily by using the magic which I used to defeat Tidus, Ice Magic.

Well, I killed them in One Hit KO. Also, I combined the attack with The Tressured Sword of Aries by kept slashing at the monsters.

By the way, I don’t pick the drop items from the non-boss monsters. In my possession, I still have about 10 gold coins, so I don’t bother to get a pennies value of the item. First of all, my real objective to test my strength while leveling up the Maria.

The activity is not exploring the Labyrinth but leveling up the Maria. So there is a possibility to share experience and leveling up someone without fighting. (GB Level, Gaji buta level, Grup Bareng tapi gk bertarung, sorry for using mother language)

It’s also important to confirm the function with other parties.

But of course, it will be impossible the shared experience reach to the outside. So, Dia who is being hospitalized will not get the experience.

Oh well, time to go back to where Maria is.

「I have come backー」

「Please please please come back quickly! Quickly, please! Please…!?」

It looks like Maria was desperately praying.

Though It was just 10 minutes.

Come to think of it, when I was level 1 I also get scared by the pressure. Though it was not so long ago, I feel like it is an old memory.

Maria head the place where I point out while complaining. She should know that there is a barrier on the correct path. With some relief Maria head to the correct path and next, I confirm where the location of monsters.

This time I’m going to try 200 meters away. If it is good, I could share experience and level up someone who can wait on the correct path.

Continue to the next experiment, Maria complains again due to being made the wait in several places.

I have confirmed thatー The distribution of the experience regardless the difference in the level, The distance of battle is around 100 meters, but there is an exceptional condition for the correct path which installed by the barrier as a result.

And so a lot of experience is accumulated for today.

I think it’s already time to have the lunch and head to the Maria is. I carry Maria on my back while comforting her and going back to the ground.
